Creation

She was born on the Tesoro, a returning ship of merchants who already were against a woman with child joining the trip. It was the superstition of the men that a woman would bring a troubled voyage.

Yet the Captain wouldn't hear it, his young bride and child to come would be on their way to his palazzo in the beautiful countryside of Siena. They had been married quickly to mask the fact that the bride had visible signs of being with child.

Her father threatened death or marriage for the Captain but it had been a love affair for the ages. He stole away this young breath ravishing her in heated kisses and longing touch. When she was found to be pregnant she was cursed by her mother and only marriage stayed in her father's hand. His temper held by the edge of a knife kisses his daughter to rid the family shame or…

The voyage to bring Tesoro back home brought cargo of dyes and textiles, and it would be enough once it all delivered for a nice wedding settlement into a new life.

The Captain was in love and it seemed all would be okay with a chance for a new life. For Maria Lorenza she held her belly watching the waters. The vast open water the smell of warm air. It wasn't until she licked her lips that she tasted the salt on them. She wasn't unhappy and while the Captain was quite old to her, she was lucky.

Lucky that her blonde pale hair and sun kissed skin made her a beautiful acquisition for the man she now called husband. He promised her a home for their “son” ; certainly they would have a son. According to her husband he never missed his target.

She looked off at the crew, whispers and ugly looks pushed away. She knew they didn't approve of her on a working ship. The crew made no effort to hide their dislike. Fearing unknown gods of the water than that of their masters. She had no time or reason to speak with the crew; it wasn't allowed so she retired to the confines of the Captains cabin.

it had begun like all storms begun wind that brought the heaviness of rain in the air. Spirited winds whipping along the waters forcing it to shake the large vessel in a sway. Back and forth it rocked as the waters' power began to show who truly owned the sea. Heavy droplets of rain fell down in large splatters until the skies growled.

Inside the cabin a woman began to panic her child in the safety of her belly but the water had begun to peek into the fine cracks of the window pane. She saw nothing but colored glass yet she felt the rocking uncomfortably pushing her as the boat swayed. She felt the heat of the cabin build up. It felt so warm she needed air, it…

Sweat beads formed along her top lip as the perspiration followed her forehead delicate pale strands of hair along her face sticking to the skin. Pangs of panic began to turn into pain as she looked below to the water at her feet. Had it come into the cabin? She looked at the blot of red against yellow fabric, her dress yellow and satin. It grew larger making the dress stained in red, her eyes had seemed locked to the sight of it…

The sharp pain woke her from her stupor feeling her body clench at her core. Blood warm pushing out of her and a scream… who was screaming?? Her? She was screaming the storm was alive and going to kill her as the harsh rocking threw her from the bedside.

The Captain rushed through the heavy door seeing his pregnant wife bleeding in a curled ball on the floor. He launched at her, pulling her up and to the bed. It was too soon and as he yelled for the surgeon, a man who knew just enough to sew a wound, he pet his wife's head. As if to reassure her she would be okay but nothing was to be okay.

The screaming pains and the storm destroying a sail to shreds made all for panic the entire crew now panicking. Cursed they said and now the ire of the sea was livid, someone shouting… “Laaaaand!” They could make it!

In the cabin the color of Maria's skin was ghostly white as blood flooded the entire bed. Her eyes fluttered as, gripping her husband's forearm with a gasp. “The devil is with us isn't he?” She whispered looking at the tall figure of a being behind her husband. Its pale skin and red eyes seemed to stare at Her.

It was indeed a devil that watched the scene unfold to him. He hardly cared for mortals and their lives boredom playing at his imagine and joining the magnificent of the murderous storm destroying the ship to splinters. He grinned at the woman on her deathbed; he found it amusing a soul to steal for his own. The unborn mortal in an in-between world of life and yet not alive.

He stepped closer and leaned over to study what was happening. She would die and certainly the child too unless it was cut away. He could take the soul the moment it breathed its first breath. Not because he wanted it or had any satisfaction by soul collecting merely because he could. To damn an innocent being before life. He grinned and leaned away whispering words to the woman of what was going to happen.

Maria saw this devil. If he were a man he would be beautiful as an angel but his eyes were bloody red and wings that looked like thick leather. Horned claws at the tips of those wings and the heat in the room. He spoke and no one could hear him but she knew that.

Saying she would die and the child would follow in her. Perhaps it was love that made her scream aloud. “Take the baby out!” She gripped at the surgeons arm howling out in pain. “Now! Cut it out of me or we both die!” She understood she would die no matter what. Her husband would never let his son die and nodded to allow the surgeon to do it.

Time was against them and with his blade he ripped away her skirts cutting flesh her belly opened as the child was cut free from its mother. Dying Maria fell silent gasping for air until the short pulls of air stopped. The demon grinned, taking his fresh soul and that of the child determined to allow it to die too.

He began to reach for the innocent soul when the ship broke against the port in a loud crash. The Captain moving and carrying the child out of the cabin…

The Demon's touch scraping the child's cowl but unable to finish his collection. He scoffed and turned his eyes and attention away. The demon could easily amuse himself elsewhere, and he would.

The fate of her mother however was clear; her mother was dead, and as her father held her he could only see that she had no son… A girl child and useless to him as an heir, many thoughts filled his mind. The crashing splintering noises of his ships were now drawing in crowds, soon everyone would see his dead wife and this hell spawn he held in his hand. The cause of his wife’s death.

As a little girl for as far back as she could recall she had always remembered him. A beautiful monster that looked at her. He was her tormentor at times when she would scream into fits of uncontrolled convulsion… The sisters at the convent were sure she was cursed, her body tight balled up in fits. Always screaming at them the black angel with red eyes…

She had been brought to the convent when she was a child, another orphan, another mouth to feed. The sisters had several children but only took in girl children to find homes for. They nicknamed her Fangs as she constantly bit at the sisters who sometimes tried to restrain or lock her up.

She was evil, some said and others said she saw evil in people. Perhaps she did, she knew instantly if any one had sinned. Though she could never explain why, perhaps it was luck or perhaps it was something more sinister than that? The devil in her has been the devil who knew her at birth. The black winged devil with red eyes.

-BIRTH OF A VAMPIRE-

Fangs as she was referred to by nickname was now older and more aware of her illness they called it fits but it was manageable. The sisters too knew how to keep her still when having such spells biting down on straps between her teeth, gripping her hands around clothes to help her hands and fingers from breaking. Her burden to bear would be her stigma to God, this was no longer the child who bit others, but a woman who was afflicted by a touch of God. This is what they said to her.

Her only choice was to give herself to God, commit to her life and soul to the higher powers of the spirit.

She was now eighteen and able to fully give all her days to God sitting in her small room she prayed crying that this would make this right. Swearing to keep herself pure and obedient for her maker. The quietness of the night were soft sounds, wings outside, crickets and trees all these things that suddenly seemed further away from her ears.

Her closed eyes were tight as she now could hear… NOTHING… Opening her eyes she looked at the straw bed mattress and saw a man sitting at her bedside.

“GOD?” Her voice said timidly frightened to move but afraid now to look at him.

The voice laughed and its wings unfurled themselves wide… he was a massive creature black hair and red… eyes. “Unfortunately I am not.” Demons knew more than she and yet they also acknowledged such a being. “So… it's you that has been lingering around this world tethered to mine and yet here you are. Not quite soulless and not quite dead…”

His words confused her so much as she fell back on her hands and looked at him smelling a strong scent of something delicious she couldn’t place her finger on. He smelt of everything good she’d ever wanted and didn't know she wanted. “What..” The voice again small and timid… She was scared now, so scared now.

The demon took a smell of the air between them and grinned “You are a human and you smell just barely like… ME?” He laughed wondering what had happened and how it happened. He had no offspring and had no blood ties in the mortal world. “How others have not killed you yet is absolutely fascinating. Demon breeds  are not allowed in humans simply not done or ever done.” Nothing was truly of something IT was either this or that.

Fangs closed her eyes and covered her ears to not hear or see it, this was a fit she was having a fit. She had to be dreaming some kind of strange dream.

“Not real”

“VERY REAL… aren't you lovely though willing me away and to no avail.” He leaned closely down to her and the heat of his skin was near boiling. She screamed and was silenced as he painfully touched her face. No screams came from her mouth but her face was in torment. His touch was fire and her skin ached pink to every touch along her jaw and face.

“Come now a little sting, nothing more.” Yet to Fangs it was the liquid hot of fire from dying from it as she cried silently now looking at him. Her cap fell away and the messy strands of black hair fell away from underneath. Why she never left the convent to marry was no mystery; her illness was crippling to her yet she was bella.

“So easily would you give yourself to a God who doesn't see you but I scare you? We are imprinted…” HE KNEW NOW WHAT IT WAS! He knew now where and how it had happened and why she was left in this world. A small act of boredom now blossomed into this woman with an ability to smell sin. That was why he burned her so, why he made her ache so… He was sinful.

“You have no soul to give him anyway while it lingers in you it belongs to me I could take it now and leave you bound for hell torments for all ages Though what waste isn't it? What good does that do to me?” Selfishly he laughed, letting her go and dropping to the hard stone floor of her room. He had planned for this one but he would not allow her to give herself to God… Even he himself did not know what would come of it.

“I am Asmodeus and you are now mine but this form is not you.” He grinned, cutting open his wrist and spilling his blood blackned and thich over her face. Resisting it from pain Fangs rolled away and caught make to choke on his blood until her breath gurgled in her throat. Burning the liquid down her as if it had a mind of its own forcing its way through her permeable skin. Traveling between muscles and bone through blood and tissue. Soaking every bit of itself into her and destroying her humanity as it did.

Dying… She was dying every mortal cell of her body assaulted and destroyed so easily as her eyes bled red, her hair turning white pushing away the black colors of her human hair. Her olive skin became alabaster claws forming at delicate fingers. She was still laying in blood and black demons' blood as she gasped for air guttering a growling scream that woke everything around them.

Screams so loud that no human could have made them with their own voices.. The demon pulled her by her neck up and before long the sounds of the worlds returned. Voices down the hall of the convent rushing to her room finding it empty. Only the blood stain of stones left along with the night back she has last worn. She was gone…

Fangs could feel them in the air flying; she could hear it grabbing him fighting him until she went still like a dead animal. Unable to speak or even bear the hour of what felt like days of being in this state. Where did they go and why did it feel like time stood still. When she awoke she realized she was far from what she once called home. Awaking to the sounds of water but the horrifying blackness of the world around her.

It was a room… lit with candles and large so large she thought at first it must be a palace. No She was in darkness save the candles. There they stood three demons hideous not beautiful like he was something else these creatures were monsters. They spoke in words she didn't know and once more dear drummed into her. Finally hearing him…

“Fangoria. I like that name. That is what I'll call you. Touching isn't it?” He said it so easily.
She spoke aloud. “Where am I?”

“You are here in the hells of my domain.” He laughed to himself as he formed from darkness. “Surprised little one.” He looked at her now. Stripped of the mortal clothing and left exposed to him. “Though I will make sure you are properly taught. Know that I am your maker and when I choose you can cease to be. Though I am sure you will not forget it.”

Instantly the thickness of the shadows wrapped her in thorns, wrapping along her body and down into her skin seeping like before but bearing lasting branding marks. Painfully as she gasped not in pain though in surprise that these things dug into her skin and now marred that pale skin in red. “This is my mark for you, isn't it lovely.”

“What is it?” She began to run at her skin but they were simply in her… She felt herself clawing at her skin until it ripped open. “Agh..” Stopping and looking at her hands than to him. “What… What am I?” Knowing she was not human anymore.

“A devourer of life that's what you are. A blood demon.”

Fangoria’s eyes went wide as she parted her mouth to speak and caught by his hand his fingers gripping at her jaw and looking at her mouth. “Little fangs.” Her eyes locked to his anger. He laughed at her. “Look at these little fangs, a little monster you smell quite good now…”

She gripped at his hand, biting down as hard as she could, feeling her fangs bite into his flesh between his finger and thumb. Instantly tasting his blood again but now… She wasn't in pain no… it was the opposite! Fangoria growled feral towards him wanting to chew him up to get more of his blood yet he pulled from her so easily laughing so amused to himself.

“Indeed.” His laughter made her angry !

“What am I… your blood tastes.. So good.” She wanted to cry now without it.

“Oh my lovely Fangoria you will be a wonderful addition to my things.”

-VAMPIRE-
Time went on and the effects of her making had taken her mortal body and immortalized her forever the day she was before she would take those vows. She aged only in mind and ability; she survived her maker’s games. So many times she thought she would break by his hand she didn't. She hated him so… Then… Yet as time did not move in his palace she learned to be powerful his interest in her waned also allowing her to be free. Time was different in the mortal world; it was much slower. A day was thousands of days in hell. Here it was… so slow…

She learned it all: hate, pain, hunger, survival, power… From her maker she was his little demonic monster but she loved him too. Perhaps that was why she was what she was honed to be perfectly his thing… BUT NO MORE…

Her return to the mortal world was but one day… Yet now she was power hungry… I'm so hungry… Returning home she took that hunger out on every single nun in the convent sparing nothing and no one her hunger. Finding only one painful thing able to stop her… The light of the sun destroyed her skin if touched… It brought a sleepiness in her that she hated to bear… Was she still so weak ?

Lessons would have to be learned on her own now, taking her freedoms and living each night between darkness hungry and murderously so… Luring mortals to death by a sound of her voice that seemed to charm mortals. She was now the powerful demon she was now the one who made the rules…

Thriving and leaving behind her maker's domain for this human world.
